I went to have birthday dinner at The Love Apple in Taos, it’s all organic and made from scratch food. If you’re ever in Taos, you should stop and try them out!

The entrance is gorgeous and you can see into the kitchen (and that it clean) and the whole place is simply decorated but soft and romantic.

Their menu is interesting and changes seasonally.

I started with a raw beet and grapefruit salad, interesting but not something I’d make myself.

And my main was an antelope tenderloin which was amazing. I’m determined to go antelope hunting now.

My hubby got Chicken Confit and Braised beef tacos (one of each). He wasn’t very impressed but he’s spoiled when it comes to food and he was polite and ate it anyway.

The service was awesome, not too involved or interrupting our conversation, but making sure we never ran out of anything. They brought me an adorable vanilla custard dessert which was so good I immediately ate all of it and forgot to take a picture. We left with a vibrant rainbow overhead and bellies full and happy. Bordering on food drunk.
